There is also a corner selling Japanese and Korean snacks, such as Pocky and Samyang Spicy Chicken Buldak Ramen. If you are a fan of Japanese or Korean snacks, you’ll love KIBO Sushi House.

Wide variety of Japanese Food Menu
KIBO Sushi House offers a wide variety of Japanese dishes. Sushi is a must-have item for Japanese restaurants, but you can also try donburi, udon and bento. Spoiled for choice? Daily Special is your best option! Featuring 3 sushi sets served with salad and miso soup.

Humber Spots Team Food Review
We ordered various dishes for a comprehensive review, including the Daily Special sushi, mixed tempura bento, beef udon, takoyaki and other sushi. Our team was impressed by the volume of each dish when all the food was placed on the table!

1. Daily Special
We chose the dynamite roll (10pcs) and salmon sushi (3pcs). This set costs $17 (exclude tax) with 13 pieces of sushi, salad and miso soup. Although a bit pricey for students, the quality and quantity offer great value!
The sushi came with a decent food presentation. Salmon was fresh without fishy smell. The right amount of fat made it rich and buttery. Highly recommend “Salmon Lover” sushi and sashimi combo if you are a salmon enthusiast. The dynamite rolls also tasted good with the shrimp tempura inside. Nothing to complain on this set!
2. Mixed Tempura Bento
Can’t decide between shrimp and veggie tempura? Go for the mixed tempura! The bento includes three shrimp and at least five veggie tempura (we had red pepper, sweet potato, pumpkin, etc on that day). It also comes with salad and miso soup. The shrimp tempura was good, but the veggie tempura impressed us even more. The thin, crispy batter combined with the juicy veggies created a delightful mouthfeel. Refreshed us in this hot summer!
3. Takoyaki
KIBO Sushi House’s takoyaki is a fusion twist on the traditional style. The outer part was fried to a crispy texture, while the inner part was moist and creamy. You can experience a totally different mouthfeel in one dish. It’s worth a try.
As the size of the dishes were unexpectedly large, we had to take some food home. The staff were so nice that they even provided extra sauce for our takeout.
Although it is a bit pricey when compared to fast food places at Humber College, KIBO Sushi House offers best value Japanese food with fresh ingredients, great taste and generous portions. It is a great place to reward yourself after hard work. Add it to your checklist!
